This little leg of the journey is taking us down From Estes Park 7.522 feet elevation to Lyons at 5,371 feet elevation. You’d be surprised what this little town has to offer.

Be sure to stop at Oskar Blues. My favorite beer is the G’night, so if you like Red’s be sure to grab a brew at Oskar Blues.
The shops downtown Lyons are mostly locally owned and operated. Not too far from Boulder this would be a great place to day trip and stock up on something if you choose to #shoplocal and support the small businesses in Lyons. You’re sure to find something you need or want as you peruse.

Lyons is also home of hiking, biking, and recreating adventures. Hall Ranch, Antelope Trail are preferred hiking trails and outdoor fun including ziplining, rafting and fields can be found at LaVern M Johnson Park. (Keep in mind this is a winter ice skate arena as well!). Lyons is home of fishing as well and is a must stop secret not too far from Boulder for al little out of the city fun.
