Thanks for visiting our website. I am Judi Haglin, and my husband, Dana, and I have owned Haglin Automotive & Boulder Transmission since 1981. We grew up in Boulder, both graduating from Fairview High School and then the University of Colorado. When we graduated from CU in May of 1981, we began our life journey together, getting married a month later, and opening our shop – then known as Haglin’s Garage – in July.
For several years Dana was a one-man operation, closing for lunch and leaving when he had to go pick up parts. There was only room for two cars, with no lifts and no office or waiting area. I began working full time in the business in 1983 and together, Dana and I have been working side by side ever since.

Over the years, as our reputation for excellence grew and our customer base expanded, we accordingly moved in an out of several locations in Boulder. We have finally landed at our current location at 5747 Arapahoe Ave., which features 12 bays, 11 lifts, an alignment rack, great office space, and a cozy customer lounge. We now employ four technicians and two service personnel. The business has grown strong, and we take great pleasure in helping local residents with their automotive needs.

Giving back to the community is extremely important to us. Over the years we have donated several vehicles to Justice High School for the highest achiever, and each spring have sponsored an Erie High School student to participate in the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Camp.

We are proud to serve the local community in business, targeting local residents and CU students. When customers come to our shop, they are well taken care of. We have become a very well-respected, full-service repair facility with ASE-certified technicians and an AAA Colorado repair facility. We are committed as a team to provide the best service in the Boulder County area.
